My Delicate Heart, another local artist, has just finished some more great embellished wine bottle cheese trays. These are one of our best sellers. She also has added some incredible, little-girl tutus and barrettes. This artist has also created several holiday and children’s aprons. These are always a great gift.

Chill Art Shop: This local artist is new to Polkadot. She designs clever, fun copper earrings and necklaces.

Large Flower Rings: a new assortment of colors has been added.

Orly Zeelon jewelry: We just received more necklaces and earrings; this embroidered lace jewelry is inspired by the victorian era but with a colorful twist. The embroidery is done on a Guipure lace motif on to which carfully selected beads and crystals are embroidered. Special floral elements and crystal rhinestones are eventually placed.

High Strung Bead Company: This line of jewelry includes beads and macrame. We carry bracelets, necklaces, and “broccoli checkers”. Some of the necklaces have a lovely design on one side and a tiny mirror on the other. The local artists refers to them as “broccoli checkers” because “you can use the mirror to make sure there is no broccoli stuck in your teeth”.

Trimdin jackets: These jackets are a new line for us. The jackets are tailored, reversible tapestry jackets. They are great for day or night wear. Not only are the jackets beautiful, they are practical too. They are wrinkle free and have reversible buttons, as well. We have several designs in Small, Medium, Large and Extra-Large.

New Scarves: We got in more Pashminas, in a variety of colors–solids, paisley, and prints. All Pashmina scarves are only $28. We also have begun to carry a new line of scarves. These scarves are great for the winter; they come in linen, wool, or silk blend. Incredible prints.

More Scrabble, Domino and Mahjong necklaces. We got in more tile necklaces. We have new scrabble letters and more Mahjong and Domino tiles–all made by a local artist.

Wish Necklaces. Another local artist has original, beautiful charm necklaces. These are sure to be on several wish lists.

Fingerless gloves / mittens. As it gets chilly, this item is already becoming a big hit. These are convertible gloves: the tip of the mitten folds and buttons back to form gloves without fingertips. This makes it easier to pick up things with your fingers. The mittens come in several colors and are perfect for the winter.

We just added a very original line of jewelry. Spruce has light, airy designs. The beads are on thin, flexible wire with designs that reflect nature: branches, tendrils, and dew drops in vibrant colors. The beads seem to capture the light and reflect movement.

We also added a new line of reversible aprons. The themes and colors are exceptional. These aprons are not only great to cook in, they are a work of art. They look beautiful hanging in the kitchen. The artist will accept custom orders for reversible aprons.

We have more of the adorable handmade cupcake bath bombs. These are truly treats for your bath. The cupcakes fizz for fun, have amazing fragrance for aromatherapy and are made of shea butter to soften your skin. The local artist has made these in wonderful fall colors.

David Marc Photography has created images that blur the distinction between painting and photography. These creations are appropriately named Photographic Impressions. This Polaroid Art is taken with a Polaroid SX-70 camera. The emulsion layer is manipulated  with an assortment of tiny blunt tools. The results are astonishing, award-winning photographs.

180 Degrees has added new pieces to their beautiful glass ware collection. There are new colors that are perfect for decorating or gift-giving for autumn and the holidays. We are very excited to offer etched glass plates.

The first time my girls saw them, I knew just how right Diane was. The 5-year-old likes them because they are soft (just right for hugging) and come in a multitude of colors. She picked out a pink one, of course. My 10-year-old read the tag that describes each doll’s personality; each has its own flaw (s) and strengths. The flaws are always outweighed by how lovable they are and why the dolls make such good friends. Beautiful on the inside. The older daughter picked the one that “freaks out” over everything. She’s a bit of a drama queen these days, but still very lovable, so her choice seemed appropriate.

Since then, I’ve watched people come in and look at the dolls. The kids aren’t the only ones who gravitate to the display. Yeah, some adults just walk by, but a lot of people smile and start looking for the one that’s right for them.

We are also carrying a new line of children’s t-shirts, State It Style. We carry sizes 3 months to 4T. These beautiful shirts have a Colorado logo and are designed locally.

We have added a new line of leather handbags– Nino Bossi. The designer focuses on clean, minimal designs. These purses are amazing to touch–incredibly soft, Italian leather. We have new autumn colors.
